James Marsden stops by Jimmy Kimmel Live to clear up an Avengers lie, revisit his classic X‑Men uniform, and dish on working with Olivia Munn and Jon Hamm.

Forevermore hottie pop‑tart James Marsden slid onto the Jimmy Kimmel Live couch with that signature charm — and immediately owned up to a hilarious fib. The last time he visited, he lied about being in Avengers: Doomsday, and Kimmel wasn’t about to let him forget it. Marsden laughed it off, proving once again he’s one of Hollywood’s most effortlessly lovable troublemakers.

He also spilled on what it was like slipping back into the old‑school X‑Men uniform, the classic comic‑book look fans have been begging to see again. Nostalgia, tight spandex, and superhero swagger — Marsden delivered the goods.

The conversation took a sweet hometown turn when he talked about Olivia Munn, who grew up friends with his sister back in Oklahoma. Now the two work together on the hit series Your Friends & Neighbors, starring Jon Hamm — a show we adore, recommend, and champion loudly around here. It’s one of our current faves for a reason.

Marsden also shouted out his other current project, Paradise on Hulu. We recently added it to our watchlist and, two episodes in, it’s already a hooker. We’re fully on board and buckled in for the ride.

Dig out the brand‑new interview right below — it’s Marsden at his most candid, funny, and irresistibly watchable.

Sound off — which Marsden era is your favorite: X‑Men, Enchanted, Westworld, or his new “Paradise” chaos?
