Jennifer Lopez Celebrates 25 Years of J.Lo with a Gold Anniversary Edition

Jennifer Lopez drops the 25th Anniversary Edition of J.Lo on Jan. 16, celebrating the album that topped charts alongside The Wedding Planner in 2001.

Jennifer Lopez shall unleash J.Lo (25th Anniversary Edition), paying tribute to her timeless 2000s album that solidified her career as an eternal pop girlie legacy.

Lopez is officially celebrating the milestone with a release set for January 16, marking exactly twenty‑five years since the album first arrived. Followers can pre‑save it on all major streaming platforms, and a limited gold vinyl pressing has also been revealed. (A collector’s moment if there ever was one.)

Let’s not forget, gals and gents — this era was commercially massive. J.Lo made history by debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 the very same week her romantic comedy The Wedding Planner opened at No. 1 at the U.S. box office.

Which, now that we think back… we purchased both the movie ticket and the album at the music store. So technically, Jennifer owes us a little investment into INYIM Media. Like a pay‑it‑forward. We kid! No we don’t. Because why not. This is est. 2009 after all.

However, that’s neither here nor there. The achievement remains rare — a needle‑in‑a‑haystack moment for any artist to simultaneously top both the music and film charts. The album eventually went 4× platinum in the U.S. and became the 6th best‑selling album worldwide in 2001.
