Meryl Streep Covers ‘Vanity Fair’ January 2010

Meryl Streep is on the cover of Vanity Fair January 10′ edition. Here’s what the legendary actress shared…

At this stage in her life: “I’m very f—ing grateful to be alive. I have so many friends who are sick or gone, and I’m here. Are you kidding? No complaints!”

On never expecting her acting career to last this long: “It’s incredible—I’m 60, and I’m playing the romantic lead in romantic comedies! Bette Davis is rolling over in her grave. She was 42 when she did All About Eve, and she was 54 when she did What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?”
