‘Doug Fieger, the lead singer of The Knack, passed away yesterday in Los Angeles at the age of 57. Doug had been battling lung and brain cancer for the past six years. Doug’s brother Geoffrey confirmed his death.’
“Muh muh muh my Sharona” by The Knacks, is probably the only tune the bands best known for. “My Sharona” was #1 in 1979, and became a hit all over again(well a hit for all ABC nick at night lovers) in the early 90s when Uncle Jesse along with Mary-kate and/or Ashley Olsen shimmied to the same jam!
Haha… I personally never fancied the tune, but it always reminds me of my early years when I watched TGIF on ABC!
