“The inspiration of this project comes from Taiwan’s street performing culture and a photo book titled “Singer & Stage“, by Taiwanese photographer, Shen-Chao Liang. The photo book documents the unique Taiwanese mobile street-performing “variety group” that can be seen in various special occasions such as weddings, or funerals. Using singers and mobile stage trucks as the creative inspiration, this collection by ANGUS CHIANG combines the characteristics in stage truck’s setting, lighting, sound, and singers’ costumes.” – FY Magazine
