When two forces of the electronic scene collaborate sparks are created, as so with Detroit electronic-punk duo, Adult.s’ upcoming new collaborative album, Detroit House Guests.
“Detroit House Guests is a collaborative project, conceived by ADULT. in the early 2000s. The album features collaborations with a whole host of musicians and artists – Douglas J McCarthy from Nitzer Ebb, Michael Gira from Swans, Shannon Funchess from Light Asylum, Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe aka Lichens, Austrian thereminist Dorit Chrysler and multidisciplinary artist Lun*na Menoh.”

The lead single “They’re Just Words” featuring English EBM band Nitzer Ebb’s Douglas J McCarthy is a dance in the dark with its heavy punk meets Electronic Body Music beats. Directed by Los Angeles-based artist, designer, and filmmaker, Hazel Hill McCarthy III has the “House Guest” in the shadows for this affair.
