“Jacky Luo is a menswear design senior graduate at Parsons. For his Thesis and first collection, Jacky was inspired by physical and emotional burdens from Tim O’ Brien’s The Things They Carried. Military details, like the camouflage and bandoliers, are reinterpreted through lace and crystal detailing, in homage to the designer’s mother.
