Before Season 30 Hits the Table, Two Co-Hosts Look Back

The View is officially heading into its 30th season — and somehow that means Barbara Walters’ daytime experiment has now stretched across four different decades of television.
Ahead of the new season, co-hosts Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin stopped by Good Morning America to look back at the show’s biggest milestones and tease what’s coming when everyone returns to thee Hot Topics table.
Season 30 premieres Tuesday, September 8 on ABC with Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin and Ana Navarro all returning. The premiere kicks things off with a full Day of Hot Topics before the season begins rolling out its first wave of guests.

Thirty seasons later, the formula is still unmistakably The View: politics, pop culture, celebrity guests, arguments, laughs and those moments where everybody starts talking at once and somehow television magic still happens.
