Homeboy Misses the Meet-and-Greet Because He’s Completely Out of It

You cannot script timing like this. During Young Thug’s New Generation Tour stop at Arizona Financial Theatre in Phoenix on October 2, 2026, one fan ended up backstage in the infirmary/first-aid area, so completely checked out that he apparently had no idea Young Thug had just pulled up right next to him.
Young Thug’s Backstage Run-In, Frame by Frame

Images: frames from the supplied Instagram Reel.
The clip was posted with the wonderfully simple caption, “Bro didn’t even know he just met thug 😭” — and that really is the whole movie.
While everyone around him seems very aware of who just arrived, homeboy is somewhere else entirely. Then Thug pulls up backstage and somehow makes the whole thing even funnier: first he reaches down and razzles the guy’s hair like, “hey, wake up buddy,” then lifts his head up, cracking up at the situation, and finally gives the wheelchair a little twirl while the poor guy sits there in first aid with a barf bag in his lap. It is such a completely absurd visual that the celebrity encounter almost becomes secondary.
And somehow this is probably going to become the greatest concert story of his life even though he appears to have missed the entire thing. Imagine waking up afterward and somebody having to explain, “Yeah… you met Thug. He lifted your head up, laughed, spun your wheelchair around and everything.”
The Comments Were Just as Unhinged
@tassajara_ofc: “Thought this was a make a wish”

@b00w33: “Homie gon think he had a nightmare with Count Chocula 😂”

@frankwiththedanks: “Not him spinning him in the wheelchair 😂”
