Prime Video is officially cracking open the vault — or rather, Vought — with the first look at “Vought Rising,” the upcoming prequel series to the satirical anti‑superhero smash The Boys. Set in 1950, the series rewinds the clock to show how America’s most corrupt corporation built its empire, its lies, and its gods.

Vought Rising rewinds The Boys universe to where the corporate nightmare began.

Soldier Boy, Stormfront, 1950s murder-mystery menace, and the origin story of the most toxic superhero brand in television. The cape business was never innocent.

And yes, before we go any further: we loved Soldier Boy in The Boys. Jensen Ackles’ rude, crude, whiskey‑soaked one‑liners had us rolling every episode. That unhinged bravado? That deranged charm? That “I’m the problem and the solution” energy? Inject it directly into our veins. So the fact that he’s back — not as a character, but as a producer — is already a win.

Joining him behind the scenes is season‑two breakout Stormfront (Aya Cash), who also serves as a producer. Their fingerprints are all over this world, and it shows.

The cast dives deep into Vought’s earliest experiments and propaganda machines. Torpedo is played by Will Hochman. Bombsight comes to life through Mason Dye. Private Angel is portrayed by Elizabeth Posey.

The story is being described as a twisted murder mystery that unravels the origins of the Vought name itself — the lies, the cover‑ups, the bodies, and the branding that would eventually shape Homelander’s America.

It’s retro. It’s sinister. It’s everything you’d expect from a universe where patriotism is a marketing strategy and morality is optional.

Premiering next year in 2027, Vought Rising is gearing up to be the next big chapter in the ever‑expanding, ever‑chaotic Boys universe.
