There’s a very merry anniversary in thee air

There’s a very merry anniversary in thee air! The Tamron Hall Show kicked off Tamron’s 56th birthday with En Vogue and Tisha Campbell, turning the September 16 episode into one very musical Tam Fam celebration.
En Vogue opened the birthday show with “Hold On,” the 1990 classic that still knows exactly how to enter a room. It was a fitting way to start a daytime birthday party for a host who has never been shy about mixing conversation, music and a little fashion-pageantry energy into the same hour.

Then Tisha Campbell joined Tamron with her son Xen Martin for a more personal conversation centered on Campbell’s memoir, The A Word: A Mother’s Journey Through Autism and Love. The book follows her experience parenting Xen after his autism diagnosis and the years of advocacy, therapies and family life that followed.
The episode also welcomed Wé Ani, who performed and joined the birthday festivities with a special surprise for Tamron. So yes, this was very much a birthday show in the proper daytime-TV sense: music first, heartfelt conversation next, then another performance to keep the whole thing moving.

And because this is Tamron, the birthday episode does not just stop at cake-and-confetti energy. The mix works because each guest gets a lane: En Vogue brings the nostalgia and vocals, Campbell and Xen bring the heart of the hour, and Wé Ani closes the circle with another musical moment.
