This Topshop dress you see on the left is not by any standards a rip off of Alexander McQueen’s, but it is very clear that the people at Topshop were inspired just as much as the next person in the fashion world from McQueen’s “Plato’s Atlantis” collection.
So they made a dress replicating the one mister McQueen sent down his SS10 runway on Amanda Laine’s back.
You can “channel your Space Age supermodel in the baroque print dress,” but is this period print not nearly as offensive as the fact that Topshop still went full steam ahead with manufacturing after Alexander McQueen’s passing??? What do you think Kiddas????
