Prince George Gets A Royal Flight-Day Glow-Up With Princess Kate
The royal growth spurt watch is officially in the air. Prince George stepped out with Catherine, Princess of Wales, for an Armed Forces Day visit to RAF Coningsby, and yes, the future king is looking very much like he is about to eye-level everyone by Christmas.
The mother-son outing was shared by the Prince and Princess of Wales as a tribute to the U.K.’s service members, with George getting an up-close look at the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the historic aircraft kept at the Lincolnshire base.
It was a day of polished royal duty, aviation history, cockpit peeking, pilot-meeting, and that very specific kind of teen royal energy where someone suddenly looks six inches taller than the last time the internet saw them.
Catherine, who has an official RAF Coningsby connection as Royal Honorary Air Commodore, looked right at home guiding George through the military-aircraft moment. George, meanwhile, sat inside cockpits, checked out different aircraft, and carried the whole thing with the calm expression of a kid who knows he is doing a field trip with actual history attached.
