In North Carolina, officials said recent patients commonly reported eating parsley and cilantro, suggesting investigators were also examining possible sources beyond the recalled lettuce. Symptoms can include frequent watery diarrhea, loss of appetite, cramps, bloating, nausea and fatigue, with dehydration becoming a particular concern for medically vulnerable people.

Ten Americans Escape a Seaplane Crash in North Bimini

NBC also airs the startling video of a seaplane carrying 10 U.S. citizens striking a dock near a resort in North Bimini, Bahamas. The group included eight passengers and two crew members aboard a Cessna 208B Grand Caravan operated by Tropic Ocean Airways.

According to authorities, the aircraft veered left while taxiing for takeoff, hit the dock and overturned in the water. Bystanders and nearby boaters rushed in before emergency crews arrived, helping everyone escape. No injuries were reported.

The episode also returns to the mass shooting at an In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho. Authorities said two victims were killed, seven people were injured and the suspected gunman later died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, bringing the total death toll to three.

The restaurant had opened only days earlier. NBC’s report focuses on the victims and on two men credited with confronting the attacker—an armed civilian and an off-duty law-enforcement officer whose actions authorities believe helped prevent further bloodshed.
