Spike Fearn Fits Right Into LOEWE’s New Creative Era
We adore us some Spike Fearn, so this one feels especially correct: LOEWE has officially unveiled the British actor as its newest brand ambassador.
The appointment brings Fearn into the house during the new creative chapter led by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, who took over LOEWE’s creative direction in 2025. And aesthetically? It tracks. Fearn has the slightly off-center, instinctive presence that works with a house more interested in character than perfectly polished celebrity machinery.
LOEWE’s announcement points to the actor’s range and refusal to stay boxed into one kind of role. Raised in a working-class family in Leicestershire and trained at Nottingham’s Television Workshop, Fearn has moved between projects including Aftersun, Sweetheart, Alien: Romulus and Back to Black, while continuing to push into bigger leading-man territory.
McCollough and Hernandez described that versatility as part of what drew them to him, pointing to his ability to move through loss, horror, comedy and romance without becoming easily reducible to one type. That unpredictability feels very LOEWE: craft at the center, but never too precious to get weird with it.
And for Fearn, who has already made the jump from rising British actor to fashion-world regular without losing the scruffier edge that made him interesting in the first place, ambassador status feels less like a sudden makeover and more like the next logical chapter.
