Bershka and Zoo York have linked up for a New York skate capsule, and there was really only one face who made sense for this particular collision of skate, fashion and downtown attitude: Evan Mock.

The collaboration reaches straight into Zoo York’s late-’90s and early-2000s streetwear vocabulary — oversized silhouettes, wide-leg denim, graphic tees, hoodies, plaid overshirts, varsity jackets, hockey-inspired pieces, cargos and tracksuits — then runs the whole thing through a cleaner contemporary Bershka filter.

Which is exactly why Mock works here. He has spent years moving between skateboarding, modeling, acting and fashion without ever looking like he wandered into the wrong room. Zoo York’s heritage gives the collection the grit; Evan gives it the now.

The campaign also leans into the actual city mythology behind the clothes. Coverage of the launch places Mock around New York skate landmarks and neighborhood fixtures, reinforcing that this is not just a logo revival. The collection is selling a very specific version of the city: skate spots, concrete, oversized layers, old-school graphics and the kind of streetwear that looks better once it has actually been lived in.

And thankfully, nobody seems interested in sanding off Zoo York’s personality to make it behave. The visual language stays bold, logo-heavy and a little unruly — exactly where it should be.

The campaign imagery keeps the focus on the collection’s oversized proportions, skate references and unmistakably New York attitude.

There is a nice full-circle quality to the whole thing. Zoo York helped define a particular East Coast skate-and-streetwear image decades ago; Bershka is now reintroducing that language to a younger audience; and Mock sits right in the middle as someone who can bridge both worlds without making the connection feel forced.
