A DoorDash driver tried to politely warn a Florida customer about a “little creature” by the door. The doorbell camera revealed the punchline: a baby alligator.

Florida TikTok user Hollyn (@hollyn.h) shared the kind of late-night delivery moment that makes a regular food drop-off feel like a neighborhood nature documentary with jokes.

In the video, Hollyn shows a delivery note from a DD driver after the order was dropped off. The message reads, “At the driveway, there was a little creature by the door I don’t know if it’s a frog or a raccoon.”

First of all, frog or raccoon is already an incredible range. That is not a guess. That is a full wildlife shrug.

But then the doorbell footage arrives, and the whole thing levels up. The night-vision camera shows the delivery person approaching the front door with the order, clocking a baby alligator near the entry, and then running off like a Looney Tunes character after realizing the “little creature” was not giving frog, not giving raccoon and absolutely giving Florida.

A closer look at the footage shows the tiny Florida plot twist posted near the doormat: a baby alligator. The driver’s original note guessed “frog or raccoon,” which somehow makes the reveal even funnier, because the animal was neither. It was tiny, reptilian and very much giving front-porch main-character energy.

The Baby Alligator Was Sitting Right There

The closer screenshots make the reveal even better: the “little creature” was posted up near the entry like it had been waiting for the delivery too.

That is what makes the clip work so well. The written note is calm, practical and almost customer-service sweet. The camera footage is pure “absolutely not” body language, right down to the cartoon-style retreat back toward the car.

Hollyn’s caption says she checked the doorbell cameras after the driver sent the message, and the payoff is exactly why these clips travel so fast. It is not a big production. It is not staged chaos. TikTok Had Zero Mercy For The “Frog Or Raccoon” Guess

The comments section did exactly what a comments section should do when a baby alligator gets mistaken for two entirely unrelated animals: it turned the whole thing into a second punchline.

Others were mostly concerned with the real DoorDash logistics of it all. “Did you get your food tho!?” one commenter asked, while another summed up the Florida energy perfectly: “It’s a baby dinosaur sir. Now come back with my food.” Between the “skiddaddle” jokes and the Jim Carrey comparison, everyone understood the assignment: the man saw Florida move and exited accordingly.

The driver also deserves a small round of applause. The order made it. The customer was warned. The note was polite. The exit was efficient. Honestly, that is service.

Doorbell cameras have basically become the new neighborhood sitcom, catching porch pirates, pets, awkward arrivals, late-night wildlife and now a delivery driver trying to explain that there was something by the door that was somewhere between “frog,” “raccoon” and “please check your camera.” The camera answer, in this case, was baby alligator.
