HBO Returns: Nostalgia in the Captain’s Seat

The company announced the name change in May, and will officially flip the switch tomorrow, July 9.

HBO will be back starting as of Wednesday. Oh, nostalgia is back in the captain’s seat. As some things should be. Not everything. Just a few.

Warner Bros. Discovery will officially rebrand its Max streaming service to HBO as well.

During a press junket, HBO chief Casey Bloys said: “I know you’re all shocked, but the good news is I have a drawer full of stationery from the last time around.”

We love it! We want our HBO… and why not resurrect MTV back?
