Woodkid is the musical identity of French singer-songwriter, composer and filmmaker Yoann Lemoine. Trained in visual arts and classical piano, he first became widely known as a music-video director before launching Woodkid with the 2011 EP Iron. His 2013 debut album The Golden Age paired orchestral percussion, chamber-pop scale and cinematic imagery on songs including “Iron” and “Run Boy Run.” He followed with S16 in 2020 and continued composing for film, television and games, including major soundtrack work for Arcane and Death Stranding 2, alongside new Woodkid releases in 2026.
