Sky Ferreira is an American singer-songwriter whose small but influential catalog helped shape the darker, more independent edge of 2010s pop. Raised in Los Angeles, she began recording as a teenager and broke through with the Dev Hynes-produced “Everything Is Embarrassing” before releasing the acclaimed 2013 album Night Time, My Time. Later singles including “Downhill Lullaby,” “Don’t Forget” and “Leash” kept her music moving toward shoegaze and alternative rock. In 2026 she signed a new label deal while continuing work toward her long-delayed second album.
