Mick Jagger is an English singer, songwriter and musician from Dartford, Kent, best known as the lead vocalist and a founding member of the Rolling Stones. His partnership with Keith Richards produced much of the band’s enduring songbook, while Jagger’s kinetic stage presence helped define the modern rock frontman. Alongside the Stones, he has maintained an intermittent solo career, beginning with 1985’s She’s the Boss and continuing through albums including Primitive Cool, Wandering Spirit and Goddess in the Doorway. Jagger has also recorded with artists including David Bowie, Dave Stewart and SuperHeavy, and has worked in film as an actor and producer. His music spans rock, blues, rhythm and blues, and pop.
