La Roux is the English synth-pop project led by singer, songwriter and producer Elly Jackson. Originally formed as a duo with Ben Langmaid, La Roux broke internationally in 2009 with the self-titled debut and singles “In for the Kill” and “Bulletproof.” Jackson later continued La Roux as a solo project, releasing Trouble in Paradise and Supervision while expanding the sound toward funk, disco and warmer analog pop. In 2026 La Roux returned with new singles and announced Old Flames, continuing one of British synth-pop’s most distinctive modern catalogs.
