Friendly Fires are an English band formed in St Albans whose exuberant sound connects indie rock with house, disco, funk and electronic dance music. Ed Macfarlane, Edd Gibson and Jack Savidge broke through with their self-titled debut in 2008, followed by Pala and Inflorescent. Known for rhythmic guitars, bright synths and kinetic live shows, the trio returned in 2026 with “Lose All Your Friends,” their first new music in seven years.
