Automatic

Automatic is a Los Angeles post-punk trio formed in 2017 by Izzy Glaudini, Halle Saxon, and Lola Dompé. The group emerged from the city’s DIY scene, building a sound around synths, bass, drums, restrained vocals, and dance-oriented rhythms. Their debut album, Signal, arrived in 2019 through Stones Throw Records, followed by the darker, more expansive Excess in 2022. Automatic’s third album, Is It Now?, was released in 2025 and extends their new wave, synthpop, and post-punk framework into sharper political and environmental territory. The band’s catalog also includes remixes and collaborations, while their live work has taken them from Los Angeles venues to international stages.
