Patrick Brammall Hears a Voice He Can’t Ignore in Apple TV’s “Last Seen”

A missing daughter. Eleven years without answers. Then one phone call changes everything. Apple TV has unveiled the official trailer for Last Seen, a new six-episode Australian thriller starring Patrick Brammall.
Brammall plays Ian Ridley, a police detective whose life fell apart when his young daughter Maggie disappeared without a trace. More than a decade later, Ian is working as a police dispatcher and still refuses to accept that she may be gone forever.
Then a distress call comes through from a teenage girl. Ian becomes convinced the voice belongs to Maggie, giving him the first real reason in years to believe his daughter could still be alive.
One Distress Call Reopens an 11-Year-Old Mystery
Whether Ian is finally hearing the clue he has spent years waiting for — or hearing what he desperately wants to hear — becomes the hook driving the mystery. Apple says he will stop at nothing to locate the caller and reunite his fractured family, whatever the cost.
The series is adapted by writer and executive producer Kris Mrksa from Ryan David Jahn’s award-winning novel The Dispatcher. Emmy-nominated filmmaker Christian Schwochow directs and executive produces, with the series set and filmed entirely in Victoria, Australia.
Joining Brammall are Maxine Peake, Brendan Cowell, Daniel Henshall, Zahra Newman, Jessica Wren, Tobias Muhafidin and newcomer Chloe Jean Lourdes.

Last Seen premieres globally on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, with its first two episodes on Apple TV. One new episode follows every Wednesday through October 7.
