The special broadcast event is set to journey coast-to-coast, moving through the people, places, performances and defining moments that have shaped the country’s story across 250 years.
ABC, Disney+, Hulu, ESPN, National Geographic and more join the 24-hour July 4 weekend event.

The multi-platform event begins the evening of July 3 and continues through July 4, with programming planned across ABC, Disney+, Hulu, National Geographic, FX, Freeform, ABC News Live, ESPN and ABC-owned stations and affiliates.
World News Tonight anchor David Muir is set to lead the 24-hour coverage, with additional ABC News, ESPN, National Geographic and Disney talent helping guide viewers through stories from all 50 states.
The programming lineup will include live celebrations, immersive reporting, performances, history-focused segments, sports storytelling, National Geographic features and a fireworks finale tied to Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort.
Several days before the 24-hour broadcast, ABC will also air Disney Celebrates America: The Pursuit of Happiness, a two-hour primetime special hosted by Deborah Roberts from Walt Disney World Resort and Will Reeve from Disneyland Resort.
