Alexander Skarsgård keeps turning Wicker press into a style event.

Alexander Skarsgård is continuing to bring the style statement factor with his Wicker press looks, this time stepping out around the film’s New York screenings in a custom tee that immediately did the talking for him.
The shirt reads “Lick My Worm” and was custom-made by Flora Miles. It is not just random provocation either: the phrase riffs on one of the knowingly filthy lines from Wicker, the 2026 romantic fantasy comedy Skarsgård stars in opposite Olivia Colman.

Wicker, directed by Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson, follows an ostracized fisherwoman played by Colman who commissions the local basketmaker, played by Peter Dinklage, to create her a husband out of wicker. Skarsgård is that husband — a fantastical romantic ideal whose arrival throws the surrounding village into jealousy, fascination and chaos.
The film has already made its press tour unusually easy to dress around. Between the wicker-man premise, the innuendo threaded through the dialogue and Skarsgård’s willingness to play with fashion, the promotional looks have felt less like standard red-carpet duty and more like extensions of the film’s strange little universe.
That tracks with the movie itself. Wicker is based on Ursula Wills-Jones’ short story The Wicker Husband and also stars Peter Dinklage, Elizabeth Debicki, Marli Siu and Nabhaan Rizwan. After premiering at Sundance earlier this year, the film is heading into its October theatrical rollout.
For now, Skarsgård appears more than happy to let the wardrobe stay as odd, cheeky and specific as the movie he is promoting. Frankly, standard-issue press-tour tailoring never stood a chance.
