She’s coming! Zara Larsson is teasing a dreamy new music video for “Blue Moon”, thee upcoming single from her groundbreaking 2025 new-classic album, Midnight Sun.
The Swedish pop star surprised fans with the first look during her September 30 show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, immediately after performing “Blue Moon.” And Zara did not undersell it: she called the visual her best video yet “by far.”

From the first glimpses, the “Blue Moon” world leans fully into fantasy. The teaser introduces an ornate blue title card surrounded by mermaids, a fairy, butterflies and stars, then flashes through dreamy underwater imagery and a moody after-dark fairground. It is a fairytale turn for a song that already sits among the more sky-high pop moments on Midnight Sun.

The visual is directed by Charlotte Rutherford and produced by Someday Studio, with those credits appearing directly in the teaser. Rutherford’s glossy, heightened pop-world approach makes plenty of sense here: “Blue Moon” is not arriving quietly.
“Blue Moon” originally appeared on Midnight Sun, released in September 2025 through Sommer House / Epic Records. The 10-track album also includes “Pretty Ugly,” “Crush,” “Eurosummer,” “Hot & Sexy” and “Puss Puss,” with “Blue Moon” sitting right near the top of the tracklist at No. 2.
The teaser also gives this rollout a little extra theater: Zara unveiled it in front of a live Los Angeles crowd rather than simply dropping a clip online. Now all that is left is the full dreamy thing.
