“YDH” stands for “young, dumb and horny,” because subtlety was never invited to this particular party. Qisha wrote and produced the funk-and-disco-tinted track with Steph Jones, Oscar Görres and Rob Milton, turning reckless attraction into a hook designed for the shower, the dance floor or any room where decorum has officially clocked out.
The DSCVR arrangement keeps the song’s wit intact while giving the performance more bite. Chloe stalks the circular set, works every camera and lets the live drums, guitar and keys push the track beyond the polish of its studio version. It is cheeky, dramatic and genius pop at its finest.
