Nicholas Galitzine Finds His Power for VMAN’s June 2026 Cover

Actor turned model Nicholas Galitzine is VMAN’s June 2026 cover boy in a striking new shoot.
Lensed by the photography duo Luigi & Iango and styled by Anna Trevelyan, Nicholas trades the usual romantic leading-man softness for a darker, sharper and far more commanding fashion moment.
The cover arrives just as Nicholas Galitzine enters one of the biggest chapters of his career. After years of royal romances, streaming favorites and swoon-worthy leading-man roles, he is stepping into the sword, muscles and myth of Prince Adam, better known as He-Man, in Masters of the Universe.
For the VMAN shoot, Nicholas appears in a black Hermès leather coat, along with stripped-back Giorgio Armani tailoring and Cartier jewelry. The styling is sleek, mature and far removed from the softer prince-next-door image that first made him a fan favorite.
Luigi & Iango photograph him in stark black and white, letting the sharp lines of the clothes, slicked-back hair and direct expressions carry the full weight of the images.
The result looks less like an actor simply stopping by for a magazine cover and more like somebody fully understanding the model assignment. Nicholas knows when to pull back, when to lean into the clothes and when to let one expression do all the work.
Inside the interview, Nicholas opens up about the demanding year-long process of becoming He-Man. The transformation involved months of weight training, stunt preparation, sword work, costume fittings and long shooting days that often continued with extra cardio between setups.
At his heaviest, the actor says he reached roughly 105 kilograms, or around 231 pounds, while learning how to move with enough speed and grace to sell the idea of being the strongest man in the universe.
The physical change was only one part of the assignment. Nicholas also had to balance action, comedy and emotional storytelling while carrying a franchise that has lived through toys, comics, animation and film for decades.
He also pushes back against the familiar “heartthrob” label, explaining that it does not fully represent who he is or the kind of career he wants to build. Recent darker roles, independent projects and producing work point toward somebody who clearly wants more than one lane.
Still, being talented, sharply dressed and undeniably handsome is not exactly working against him here. VMAN captures Nicholas at the exact point where blockbuster stardom, high fashion and a more self-directed career begin meeting in the same frame.
Actor turned model? At least for this striking new shoot, absolutely. Nicholas Galitzine understands the pose, the stare and the power of a perfectly cut black suit.
