A Sweet Bite of Food Daze History

Decades and years of delivering chocolate yumminess — yet some folks roaming this planet still don’t know what “M&M’s” actually stands for.
Are you one of those?
INYIM Media’s Food Daze History delights in giving you the answer: M&M’s = Mars & Murrie’s.
The name is a nod to the candy’s conception and the unlikely partnership that made it iconic.
Forrest Mars Sr. invented and patented the candy, but it was his collaboration with Bruce Murrie of the Hershey Corporation that sealed the legendary deal. Mars brought the vision. Murrie brought the chocolate access. Together, they created one of the most recognizable treats on Earth.
