A Late‑Night Backyard Trip Turns Into a Wild Raccoon Attack
Present‑day developments out of a quiet neighborhood turned chaotic in seconds after a man stepped outside to let his dog use the bathroom — and came face‑to‑face with a raccoon lurking in the yard. Moments later, the animal launched into a full‑blown attack.
As the raccoon charged at the family’s pug, RoRo, owner Sean Yanes rushed in, trying to pry the creature off the dog, but it refused to let go. Sean’s wife, Ashley, saw the struggle unfolding and sprinted in to help, turning the backyard into a frantic rescue scene as both owners fought to free their pup.
The raccoon eventually bolted down the slope behind the house, dragging RoRo with it, but Sean chased after them. In a desperate move, he managed to get the raccoon into a headlock, finally forcing it to release poor RoRo from its grip.
