Global News reporter Rob Leth heads out in the middle of winter to do a routine standup for his broadcast in the snow.

But what started as a good idea — an inner‑tube toboggan race — turned quickly sour when Leth is hit head‑on by one of the racers.

A full‑speed collision, a mid‑air flip, and a very Canadian “carry on” energy. A winter broadcast for the books.
