Holiday Watchable: When Fergie Turned Out Little Drummer Boy Into A Club Hit

Fergie lit up Oprah’s 2010 “Ultimate Favorite Things” episode with a vivrant take on “The Little Drummer Boy,” performed alongside the Peas during their The Beginning era.

The Black Eyed Peas was something before pop queen Fergie came into the mix. However, it never got as brighter and splendiful since.

Case in point. Let’s transport back to 2010 when the fab group appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show to perform their hit number, “The Time (Dirty Bit)”—fresh off their The Beginning album run (released November 2010 via Interscope).

Along with a rousing, vivrant cover of “The Little Drummer Boy.” The only way the one-of-one, miss F‑E‑R‑G‑I‑E, can showcase. (That holiday episode remains one of Oprah’s most-watched “Ultimate Favorite Things” specials.)

This all went down for Oprah’s big holiday blowout, and Fergie brought her signature energy to the classic Christmas tune—full belt, full sparkle, full Fergie-fergaliciousness.

Dig out this joyous, fun performance featuring Fergie in a gorgeous white dress. A little festive, a little theatrical, and very her.
