GIRLSET hails from thee U.S. skies in Los Angeles, Cali. The group was formed by JYP Entertainment and Republic Records through the reality competition show A2K on YouTube in 2023.
The four members consist of: Camila, Lexi, Kendall, and Savanna.
Production-wise, we think it’s stellar. As folks who adore beats that scream fashion runway and pop diva attitude, the track feels downright addictive.
Lyrically, the song is a standard ear-gasmic pop track. It’s your bouncy, bountiful starburst anthem about empowerment and confidence. Honestly, the lyrics are simple yet fitting to the coy cosplay, tongue-in-cheek genre all pop veterans have visited at one point or another in their long careers.
Overall, this is a scrumptious, delightful track. It moves us—and grows on you more with each listen. That said, scope out the brightly fun, superbly choreographed official video version.
