“Everyday Is a Winding Road” is the second single from American singer and songwriter Sheryl Crow‘s 1996 eponymous album.

Sheryl Crow’s “Every Day Is a Winding Road” is the second single from her 1996 self-titled album. The song features backing vocals by Neil Finn, the lead singer of Crowded House. Interestingly, the song was inspired by Paul Hester, another member of Crowded House.

The song reached #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated for Record of the Year at the 1998 Grammy Awards. It has also been featured in several films, including Erin Brockovich and Phenomenon.

Her is the music mastermind performing on a throwback episode of Top of the Pops!
