Carpenter celebrated the collaboration on Instagram early Valentine’s Day morning, sounding every bit like somebody who had just convinced one of her heroes to jump into her pop universe.

The Deluxe Edition Adds Five More Reasons To Stay Sweet
Released February 14, 2025, Short n’ Sweet (Deluxe) expands Carpenter’s 12-track album with “15 Minutes,” the Dolly Parton version of “Please Please Please,” “Couldn’t Make It Any Harder,” “Busy Woman” and “Bad Reviews.”
The Dolly duet is not just a vocal drop-in, either. The country icon brings her unmistakable phrasing to the song while the accompanying video shifts the original’s cinematic troublemaker energy into a playful new ride built around Carpenter and Parton together.
