Valette Studio Turns Tailoring Into A Dadaist Atelier Experiment

Gander at Valette Studio’s Spring/Summer 2027 runway collection, unveiled during Paris Fashion Week under the title Dandys Dada.
The Paris house leans into the Atelier this season, not just as a place where clothes are made, but as the beating heart of the whole proposition: craft, construction, tailoring, movement and a little art-world mischief stitched into the seams.
According to FY Magazine!, Dandys Dada opens a new stage in Valette Studio’s development by introducing a new Savoir-Faire while holding onto the brand’s tailoring core.
Valette Studio’s SS27 runway keeps tailoring at the center while playing with flou, grand flou, shifting volume and surreal detail.

The collection works through straight grain, wool twills, cotton poplins and recycled leather, giving the clothes that Valette tension between elegant control and studio-made experimentation.
Details do a lot of the talking here: zips, leather-covered shoulder pads, canvassed jackets and pieces designed with multiple ways to wear them. The construction feels sharp, but never frozen.
FY Magazine! also points to the introduction of flou and grand flou, two softer worlds shaped by new Atelier profiles. That is where the collection opens up into silk mousseline, viscose jersey, brightness, transparency and sensual movement.
The title does its job. Constructivism shows up in the tailoring and cuts of the jackets and trousers, while Dadaism slips through shifting volumes, deformations, visual collage, repeated details and playful silhouettes.
Color keeps the push-pull going too: black, white, off-white, beige, violet and orange, plus zebra and spotted motifs that add an extra jolt of visual static to the Atelier precision.
