Sabrina Carpenter is extending her Short n’ Sweet era, and she’s bringing a living legend along for the ride. Just days after winning her first two Grammys, Carpenter announced a deluxe edition of the album arriving February 14, 2025.
The Valentine’s Day expansion adds five tracks: “15 Minutes,” “Couldn’t Make It Any Harder,” “Busy Woman,” “Bad Reviews,” and a new version of “Please Please Please” featuring none other than Dolly Parton.

Carpenter shared the deluxe cover art and track list on Instagram as a thank-you after Short n’ Sweet won Best Pop Vocal Album and “Espresso” took Best Pop Solo Performance at the 2025 Grammys.
“as a thank you for giving this album 2 Grammy’s :’)” she wrote, before confirming the deluxe edition was available for pre-order. Then came the part that made the whole announcement go country-pop neon: “and yes that does say featuring Miss Dolly Parton….”
Carpenter added that Parton “wouldn’t want me to swear,” before delivering a very Sabrina-level reaction anyway. Honestly, fair. Getting Dolly on your record is exactly the kind of news that earns punctuation abuse.
The Dolly feature lands on a reworked “Please Please Please,” giving one of Carpenter’s biggest Short n’ Sweet singles an unexpected country-pop meeting of generations. The remaining four additions are new songs rather than remixes of the original album tracks.

Carpenter’s February 2025 announcement revealed the deluxe cover, expanded track list and Dolly Parton feature ahead of the Valentine’s Day release.
And because a Dolly Parton cameo is always a perfectly good excuse to revisit Dolly being Dolly, the original INYIM post closed with one of her signature songs.
