Ruben Bilan-Carroll Makes Montauk Look Like a Luxury Playground
Cutie with the strong legs, Ruben Bilan-Carroll heads out east for Americana Manhasset’s fall 2026 lookbook — and suddenly Montauk looks less like the end of Long Island and more like one very expensive weekend wardrobe.
The luxury retailer takes its fall story away from the North Shore and into Montauk, where Bilan-Carroll stars alongside Ava Shipp in a lineup that moves easily between tailoring, sportswear and the kind of layered outerwear made for a dramatic walk by the water. Americana Manhasset’s strength has always been range, and this season the clothes do not belong to one single idea of menswear.

The Moncler look alone gets the point across: a quilted down vest over a plaid shirt jacket, wide cargo trousers, boots and a bucket hat. It is outdoorsy without pretending luxury suddenly forgot what luxury is. Then the lookbook swings in another direction entirely, putting Bilan-Carroll into Brooks Brothers color and prep.
That Brooks Brothers frame might be thee most fun of the bunch. A striped rugby polo, two-tone hooded anorak, coral shorts, striped socks and loafers should be doing a lot at once — because it is — but Bilan-Carroll carries it with the exact amount of nonchalance the styling needs.
Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren and Zegna Take the Beach
The sharper looks make the location work even harder. Louis Vuitton puts Bilan-Carroll in a dark suit with a blue shirt, check tie and monogram messenger bag on the rocky shoreline. Ralph Lauren answers with a charcoal overcoat, V-neck sweater, checked waistcoat and Prince of Wales trousers. And Zegna brings the story indoors with a gray tailored suit layered over a quarter-zip knit.
There is softer territory too. Bilan-Carroll and Shipp share a Rag & Bone frame in long wool outerwear above the water, while Theory keeps things tonal and relaxed with a cream chore jacket and matching trousers on him alongside Shipp’s camel car coat and rust trousers.
That constant switch is what makes Americana Manhasset’s fall book click. One page is prep, the next is utility, then full tailoring, then relaxed luxury. Montauk ties everything together without forcing the clothes into a fake nautical theme. It is simply a very good backdrop for several versions of the same well-dressed man.
