Disney Princess Royalty Takes Over California Adventure for One Massive Concert
If you missed it live, Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration is ready for another spin.
The one-of-a-kind concert was staged at Disney California Adventure on August 13, 2026 as the grand finale to D23 Day at Disneyland Resort, bringing together what Disney billed as the largest gathering of Disney Princess talent ever assembled.
Translation: this was not your average theme-park sing-along. The celebration pulled voices and performers from Disney animation, live-action films, Broadway and music into one giant Princess-sized reunion.

The lineup in the concert includes Auli’i Cravalho, Catherine Laga’aia, Anika Noni Rose, Jodi Benson, Halle Bailey, Paige O’Hara, Susan Egan, Judy Kuhn, Brandy and Lea Salonga—a cross-generational roll call tying together characters and songs that have lived in Disney’s musical DNA for decades.
Disney staged the show with sweeping projections, large-scale lighting and fountain effects, building the production around the songs and voices rather than treating it like a simple anniversary medley. The concert was later made available on Disney+ and aired across Disney Channel, Freeform and The Wonderful World of Disney on ABC on August 16.
And yes, there is something undeniably satisfying about hearing original and newer Disney voices share one stage. This is nostalgia with actual vocal receipts.
