PAZ stepped into Paris Fashion Week with a debut that did not feel interested in fast fashion’s usual reset button. The brand’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, titled “Beyond Our Time,” was presented at the historic Collège des Bernardins, where stone, vines, roots, and shadow gave the clothes a setting that looked beautifully lived-in before the first model even moved.

The idea was clear: clothes do not lose their value when time touches them. For PAZ, the more compelling story is what happens after the pristine first impression fades and a garment begins collecting memory, wear, tension, and personality.

The runway language moved between protection and softness. There were sculpted leather coats, corsetry, harness-like lines, elongated tailoring, and hardware with a guarded edge. Then the collection opened into something more vulnerable: cable knits, transparent layers, open backs, softer silhouettes, and pieces that looked as if they were designed to evolve instead of expire.

That push-and-pull is where the collection finds its pulse. Black leather and sculptural construction gave the show its armor, while distressed finishes, visible construction, cotton, knitwear, and touches of sheerness made the clothes feel less like objects on a rack and more like future favorites waiting for a life outside the runway.

Inside the Gothic venue, the atmosphere did its own styling. The overgrown setting turned the show into a conversation between architecture, nature, body, and time, which is exactly where PAZ seemed to want the collection to live.

For a debut, “Beyond Our Time” lands with a clear point of view: keep the sharp edges, keep the softness, and let the clothes become more interesting the longer they stay with you.
