Six Models Turn One Studio Into A Very Stylish Playground
Models a-plenty: Roman Stubrin, Daniel Navas, Juraj Sabo, Thijs Leushuis, Rafael Mayers and Bálint Szobonya take over Numéro Homme Switzerland for “Play.” Photographer Ferran Casanova gathers six different energies inside one story and lets movement, color, tailoring and a little beautiful chaos decide who gets the frame next.
Published in the Summer 2026 Les Corps issue, “Play” treats menswear less like a formal presentation and more like a group experiment. The models lean, lounge, collide and pose with the freedom of men who have been told to enjoy the clothes rather than stand there politely explaining them.

Giorgio Ammirabile serves as fashion director and stylist, pulling from Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Tom Ford and Moncler. The labels bring the luxury, but Ammirabile avoids turning the editorial into a stiff catalogue. Jackets loosen, silhouettes shift and the styling leaves enough room for six personalities to remain visible.
That is important in a cast this crowded. Stubrin, Navas, Sabo, Leushuis, Mayers and Szobonya are not arranged as interchangeable handsome bodies. Casanova uses contrast—different builds, faces, gestures and levels of intensity—to make the group feel like a cast rather than inventory.
The beauty team keeps up with the shifting mood. Makeup artists Eleonora Juglair and Susy Carducci work alongside hair stylists Cristian Bernardoni and Andrea Bernardoni, sharpening each face without sanding away its individuality. Elio Mulas assists Casanova on photography, while Ander Gaztelu leads casting.
The title may be “Play,” but the images are not careless. Casanova’s compositions remain controlled even at their liveliest. Arms and legs create graphic lines, bodies overlap without becoming visual clutter, and the clothes move through the frame as part of the action rather than sitting above it like museum pieces.
There is also a welcome refusal to choose only one version of masculinity. The story can be sleek, sensual, mischievous, confrontational and relaxed within a few pages. When one model cools the temperature, another turns it back up. Six models, no shortage of opinions.

“Play” succeeds because it never confuses fun with lack of intention. Every body, garment and expression has a place, but the finished sequence still feels loose enough to breathe. That balance is harder than it looks—and considerably prettier.
Six models walk into a fashion story. Nobody behaves. Exactly as it should be.
