Nike Rebuilds the Everyday Uniform One Fleece Weight at a Time
Nike Studio Fleece has arrived with one deceptively simple mission: take the pieces people already live in and obsess over every proportion, fabric weight and finishing detail until fleece feels less like an afterthought and more like the new everyday uniform.
The collection is built as a unified activewear system spanning crewnecks, quarter-zips, full-zip and pullover hoodies, shorts and sweatpants. Rather than forcing every piece into one shape, Nike divides the range between standard and oversized fits, giving the familiar fleece wardrobe more room to shift between movement, layering and full chill mode.

Studio Fleece comes in three weights. Lightweight styles are designed for breathability and easy layering, mediumweight pieces bring brushed softness and everyday versatility, and heavyweight garments add greater structure. Cleaner lines, narrower cuffs, redesigned hoods and signature Lyon Blue labels separate the system from the standard sweatshirt pile.
Nike also put the collection through a particularly practical test: more than 300 women around the world helped inform the Total Black colorway. The feedback shaped softness, durability against the skin and a dye formula intended to keep the black looking deep through at least 30 washes. Because nothing ruins an “everyday uniform” pitch faster than black turning mystery charcoal before the season is over.
Joining Studio Fleece is Solo Fleece, a men’s midweight hoodie with brushed-back fabric, a shorter and straighter cut, a pleated hood with matching lining and a three-dimensional embroidered Swoosh. The two collections meet in one campaign that connects Nike athletes with artists rather than treating sport and personal style as separate worlds.

The full campaign cast includes athletes Alysa Liu, Jazzy Davidson, Sha’Carri Richardson, Moses Itauma, Lauren James and Reece James, alongside artists Karina and Yeat. It is a smart match for a collection built around clothing that has to move across training, travel, work, downtime and whatever category the rest of the day decides to become.
Studio Fleece is available through Nike and select retailers in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with a wider global rollout beginning September 1, 2026. New styles are also expected to continue joining the system in the months ahead.
