Netflix and Katt Williams are expanding their already very comfortable relationship — this time with an original podcast.
The streamer announced on September 1 that the comedy master is among the next personalities getting a Netflix original podcast, with Williams’ show expected to debut later in 2026.
And really, giving Katt Williams more room to talk feels less like a programming decision and more like someone finally accepting the inevitable.

Netflix is making podcasts part of the main streaming experience
Podcasts are no longer a little side experiment for Netflix. The company says it now has more than 60 podcasts available, spanning comedy, true crime, sports, food and broader culture.
Its growing lineup includes original shows as well as established podcasts brought onto Netflix, giving members the option to watch or listen inside the same service they already use for films, series and stand-up.
Alongside Williams, Netflix announced another new original podcast from bestselling author Harlan Coben, while also renewing its first wave of original podcast programming.
Katt Williams and Netflix already know how to make noise together
Williams is coming off his 2026 Netflix stand-up special Katt Williams: The Last Report, where he once again turned celebrity culture, conspiracies, politics and the general state of the world into his own very specific kind of controlled chaos.
Netflix also houses several of his earlier specials, including Great America, World War III and Woke Foke.
The podcast format could be an especially natural extension for Williams. His long-form appearances have repeatedly become cultural events precisely because he is at his most compelling when there is enough room for the conversation to wander somewhere nobody planned.
What do we know about Katt Williams’ Netflix podcast?
For now, Netflix is keeping the details wonderfully scarce.
The company has confirmed that it will be an original Katt Williams podcast coming later in 2026, but it has not yet announced an official title, exact premiere date, episode schedule, guest lineup or detailed format.
So no, we are not going to invent a fake release date and pretend Netflix whispered it to us backstage. The second the streamer gives this thing a proper name and launch date, then we have something else to talk about.
