Argentinian creative bombshell Nathy Peluso joins Zach Zang in the studio to chat about everything.

Starting from her beginnings studying theatre and writing poetry for cash—on the spot, typewriter in hand, on the streets of Barca—to how she moved from rapping to singing, all the way to her latest salsa EP, MALPORTADA.

The project dropped in late 2024 via Sony Music Latin, serving up a fiery mix of brass-heavy arrangements and club-ready snap. Standout track “La Presa” already has fans spinning, with visuals directed by Agustín Alberdi (known for his bold, cinematic flair).

They also get into her love for Phil Collins and his connection to the album she scrapped before 2024’s Grasa. Plus, the difference between salsa sung by men vs. women—a convo that hits deeper than you’d expect.

And yes, Peluso’s live run is heating up: she’s set to headline select Latin American festivals in early 2025, with European dates teased for summer.
