Tania Mendoza Frames Francisco Rosso for MMSCENE’s New “Unbuttoned” Story

Fresh faced model Francisco Rosso steps into “Unbuttoned,” a new MMSCENE STYLE STORIES exclusive photographed by Tania Mendoza and shaped under the creative direction of Mendoza and Milo de las Heras.
The title arrives with its own invitation: loosen the presentation, remove some of the distance and let the person inside the fashion image come forward. Rather than burying Rosso beneath an overcomplicated premise, the editorial keeps the attention on the collaboration between model, photographer and frame.
For INYIM, that is thee good stuff. A proper menswear story does not need to shout when the casting, composition and point of view are already doing the work.

“Unbuttoned” Brings Photographer and Model Into the Same Visual Conversation
Mendoza serves as photographer while sharing creative direction with de las Heras, a Madrid-based creative director and fashion stylist whose work centers on intentional, refined visual narratives. That shared direction gives the project a clear authorship without turning the credits into a committee meeting.
Rosso, meanwhile, brings a background that extends beyond standing in front of the lens. The Argentine model is also a writer and anthropology student, an unusual combination that makes his own comments about fashion more considered than the standard “I love traveling and meeting people” model biography.
In a previous MMSCENE interview, Rosso spoke openly about the contradictions inside the global fashion industry, including pollution, exploitation and overproduction. He also described modeling as a profession learned through experience after being scouted on Instagram and quickly sent abroad for work.
That awareness gives the fresh face a little more depth: Rosso is participating in the image while still thinking about the system around it.
According to his current professional profile, Rosso is based in Buenos Aires and represented by CREW Model Management in Milan and The Tribe Model Management in Madrid. His recent work has moved through editorials, runway appearances and lookbooks, including projects connected to MMSCENE, Vogue.it, Palomo Spain, Dolce & Gabbana and Moncler Grenoble.
Francisco Rosso Keeps the Frame Open Without Losing the Fashion

The editorial’s strength is its confidence in a single subject. There is no crowded cast requiring an explanation of who belongs to which visual thread. Rosso carries the complete story, allowing the sequence to build through changes in framing and presentation while remaining recognizably part of one session.
That continuity matters in an image-heavy feature. A strong editorial gallery should feel like a progression rather than ten unrelated photographs occupying the same page. “Unbuttoned” gives Rosso room to hold the viewer’s attention while Mendoza maintains the visual identity behind the camera.
The result is less about announcing a new face and more about showing why the face deserves another look.
