MMSCENE Turns The Beach Into A Summer Model Story

MMSCENE Magazine is sliding straight into high-summer mode with its July digital cover story, “Boys of Summer,” a beach-set editorial photographed by Alejandro Ramirez and built around sun, saltwater, skin, denim, and the kind of clean styling that makes a summer fashion story actually feel like summer.
The lineup brings together Pau Navas, Rayane El Maach, Sele Mbathie, Pol Hernandez, Chris Vicent, Marc Pigem, and Vicenç Casas for a cinematic beach narrative that leans into raw atmosphere, organic textures, and polished men’s-fashion ease without overworking the fantasy.

Get The Boys Of Summer Mood
MMSCENE’s beach editorial leans into sun-ready essentials: sharp sunglasses, clean swim shorts, easy tanks, denim, and resort pieces that still feel editorial.

There is a very specific sweet spot here: beach story, yes, but not just “put the boys near water and call it a day.” The cover mood works because the styling lets the setting breathe. Sunglasses, swimwear, denim, tanks, shorts, soft layers, and barely-there summer pieces do the visual talking while the models carry that relaxed-but-alert editorial energy.
Milo de las Heras served as creative director and styled the story with Manel Ferrer Guisado, while Numair Asmi handled casting. The grooming and beauty side comes through Cristobal Valero and Sandra Ruibal, keeping the beach finish natural, camera-ready, and not too precious.
The wardrobe list gives the editorial plenty of shopping and style texture, moving from Tom Ford, Ray-Ban, Ron Dorff, Havaianas, Camperlab, and Arket to Givenchy, Calvin Klein, Quiksilver, Polo Ralph Lauren, Dolce&Gabbana, Dsquared2, Boss, Versace, and Moschino. It is summer styling with range: swim, denim, sunglasses, underwear, accessories, and just enough high-fashion voltage to keep the beach from going basic.
The model credits also stretch across a strong agency map, with names connected to Uno Models, Eleven Management, The Road Models, Universe Scout, and Uniko Models. That mix gives “Boys of Summer” a broad international casting feel while still keeping the images clean, direct, and unmistakably built for a digital cover moment.
Behind the frame, Gemma Pintado assisted on photography, Pau Pueyo assisted on styling, Carmina Civarolo worked as filmmaker, and Miguel Maza handled digital retouching. The result is less vacation postcard, more sunlit men’s fashion editorial: easy on the surface, precisely assembled underneath.
