FASHIONCLASH Festival 2025: A Fusion of Fashion, Identity and Art
Coming November 14–16, the city of Maastricht, Netherlands, will once again transform into a hub of fashion, art and performance as FASHIONCLASH Festival kicks off its 17th edition. This international, multidisciplinary event puts the spotlight on emerging designers, artists and performers, offering a packed program of runway shows, exhibitions, films, workshops and talks across the city.
Highlights from this year’s edition include:
Fresh music, bold entertainment, and men’s fashion—one tight email a week.
- The Clash House: Designers Arva Bustin, Rakee Chen, POViS, and Maxence Guenin & Thibault Villard lead experimental fashion performances rooted in themes of climate, identity, and activism.
- New Fashion Narratives at Bureau Europa: A curated exhibition examining fashion as a tool of connection and resistance, showcasing bold installations and conceptual storytelling.
- Fashion Film Program & Awards at Lumière Cinema: Including the premiere of The Sneeze, an emotive collaboration exploring fashion through cinematic language.
The 2025 campaign, developed by Ülkühan Akgül (ULKUHAN), uses AI-generated portraits and poems to delve into themes of digital creation and identity, offering a thought-provoking look at the intersection of technology and self-expression.
