French Tennis Meets Scottish Rainwear in One Powerhouse Twelve-Piece Collabo
A powerhouse collabo, to be exact: Lacoste and Mackintosh have joined forces on a twelve-piece Fall/Winter 2026 capsule that puts French tennis codes straight into the hands of one of Scotland’s most storied rainwear houses.
First unveiled during Lacoste’s Fall/Winter 2026 runway show at Roland-Garros, the project sits under the creative direction of Pelagia Kolotouros and connects two legacies built around dressing for performance — René Lacoste on the court and Charles Mackintosh against the weather.

Tennis-Court Lines Meet Mackintosh’s Waterproof Craft
The capsule takes familiar wardrobe pieces and gives them a weatherproof remix: a polo poncho, trench dress, tracksuit-inspired shirt-jacket, belted pleated skirt, minimalist coat, low-waisted trench and adjustable-cuff blouson all appear in the mix. The common thread is Mackintosh’s bonded waterproof cotton, made with a layer of liquid rubber sealed between two layers of fabric.
The detailing is where the two houses really start volleying ideas back and forth. Co-branded buttons, oversized labels and pockets, a tonal Fawn Beige crocodile and metal crocodile charms meet Mackintosh’s signature waterproof tape. On the interior seams it runs in white; on cuffs and hems, black — a graphic callback to the painted lines of a tennis court.
Even the accessories stay in the same lane. Lacoste’s Lenglen bag is reworked in two bonded-cotton versions, joined by a racket cover and leather charms inspired by Lacoste archive motifs and Mackintosh care labels. It is technical without looking clinical, sporty without being trapped on a court.
The larger Fall/Winter 2026 collection called the idea “tech-heritage,” and that phrase fits this capsule neatly: athletic references and archive codes sharpened by real outerwear construction rather than decoration for decoration’s sake.
